My Tiny Bird: from a spark to a dream come true
Every story starts with a spark. My spark ignited during my second pregnancy. I had less and less time for myself, my priorities changed and my desires became different. I realized how precious the time we are given is and how important it is to use it for what really makes us happy.
So during my second pregnancy I felt a strong desire to create. Every night, when my daughter fell asleep, I picked up my tablet and drew. Evening after evening, a new illustration was created, a new illustrated animal. When I created 25 of them, they came together as a whole: a beautiful A3 poster of the alphabet with animals. My first product.
Drawing was also a source of comfort for me
during pregnancy complications and childbirth. I remember the first days after giving birth, sitting in the silence of the pediatric corridor, watching the rain trickle down the translucent roof, and waiting for the doctors to assure me that everything was fine with my tiny Svit.
You may be wondering why my cute little shop is called My Tiny Bird.
The inspiration for this name was born together with Svit – small, tiny, but strong in his desire to live. For me, he will always be my little bird, a symbol of morning birdsong and evening peace, when the last bird hides its face under its wings and drifts off into a sweet dream.
My journey of illustrated products is paved with love and gratitude.
I am grateful that everything turned out as it should. And I am grateful for the realization of the importance of appreciating small moments and accepting them exactly as they are.
That’s why I created a shop that celebrates the beauty of everyday moments, good work and gratitude.
I am grateful for my health. Now I know that it is not a given that you are born healthy.
What is it that you are grateful for?
